INTRODUCTION Ceramic flapper type Formation Isolation Valve is a mechanical operated through the engagement of shifting tool to the shifting profile on the valve, down to open and up to close. The design of the ID/OD ensures the flow and to meeting conventional completion design requirement; The Formation Isolation Valve is designed to seal from above. This valve has a widely applications that can suit for different completion design. Flapper is made of industry ceramic material and can be broken mechanically when necessary. APPLICATION Vertical/Deviated well gravel pack Vertical well stand alone screen Single trip multi-zone gravel pack FEATURE Simple design, low cost；4.87″ID. to allow 4.75″Seal Assembly to pass through without damaging the seal Slim body, bigger annulus area to avoid sand bridge during gravel pack operation； High quality material, special surface treatment to ensure tools quality； Ceramic flapper can be broken when necessary Special design spring vs conventional Torsion Spring to ensure the flapper can be open/close over a long period of time. |
